ASTM E1417

A “Prática da norma para ensaio de líquido penetrante” rege o processo de inspeção por líquido penetrante usado em operações de manutenção e fabricação.

A ASTM E1417 aborda os requisitos pessoais, requisitos de equipamento, métodos de aplicação e de remoção do penetrante. A ASTM E1417 também estabelece os resultados exigidos e a frequência de testes para materiais penetrantes em uso.

SAE AMS 2644

“Material de inspeção, penetrante” abrange os procedimentos de teste, classificação e qualificação de todos os materiais de teste de líquido penetrante. A QPL-SAE-AMS-2644 é a Lista de Produtos Qualificados (QPL) dos penetrantes, emulsificadores, limpadores e reveladores que foram qualificados e aprovados para SAE AMS 2644.

ASTM E1444

A “Prática da norma para ensaio de partícula magnética” é o documento-guia para a inspeção por partículas magnéticas. ASTM E1444 estabelece as diretrizes de inspeção por partículas magnéticas e os requisitos de controle de qualidade.

ASTM E709

Um documento comprovativo que pode ser usado com a ASTM E1444. O ASTM E709 é usado como um guia de referência para preparar procedimentos de inspeção. O ASTM E709 descreve as técnicas de inspeção por partículas magnéticas, recomendáveis para diversos tamanhos e formatos de peças ferrosas.

Não há uma lista de produtos qualificados para materiais de partícula magnética. Entretanto, diversas especificações da AMS oferecem diretrizes para materiais de partícula magnética. Essas especificações da AMS abrangem os requisitos técnicos e as disposições de garantia de qualidade de diferentes formas e métodos de materiais de partícula magnética:

  • método seco
  • método úmido
  • fluorescente
  • não fluorescente
  • veículo oleoso
